What's New in DocuWare Version 7.12

We are excited to announce the upcoming release of DocuWare version 7.12, which includes new functions for processing e-invoices, connecting IDP functions, and enhancing analytics. This release also brings important updates to security and configurations, ensuring a more robust and efficient experience for users.

 

Key Features of DocuWare Version 7.12

DocuWare version 7.12 introduces several new features and improvements that will benefit your workflows:

  • E-Invoice Processing: The contents of e-invoices, particularly invoice line items, can now be automatically transferred to table elements for further processing and review. E-invoice attachments, common to most electronic invoice formats, are now displayed in the viewer.

  • IDP Integration: With the new module “IDP” within the DocuWare settings, you can define which IDP classification and extraction should be applied to processed documents. This configuration can be integrated into Connect to Mail, allowing all email attachments to be processed according to the IDP configuration. This ensures that documents received by email are classified before archiving, and their contents are extracted for indexing and further processing.

  • Analytics Enhancements: The new Workflow Analytics API allows for the seamless transfer of data from DocuWare into popular analytics tools. Companies can analyze their business processes in detail, gain valuable insights, and visualize them to make informed decisions and develop targeted workflow optimizations. The new Power BI connector enables data to be used directly from the Workflow Analytics API and DocuWare archives for comprehensive analyses in Microsoft Power BI. In on-premises environments, the integration is available for archived data.

  • Security and Configurations: This release includes useful updates to security and configurations, ensuring a more secure and efficient system.

 

Availability

  • DocuWare Cloud Version 7.12: The cloud version will be released in early April. Every partner can create their own organization for trial purposes, though these organizations are not suitable for production use later.
  • On-Premises Version: The on-premises version will follow at the end of April.
