Dragon Copilot Flex Full Text Control: 23 system combinations validated for version 5.1

For healthcare organisations considering the move from Dragon Medical One to Microsoft Dragon Copilot, compatibility with existing clinical systems is an important part of the conversation.

Dragon Copilot Flex now has 23 vendor/system combinations validated for Full Text Control, giving partners and customers a clearer view of the systems currently supported for this functionality.

For ORdigiNAL partners, this is an important step forward. It provides a stronger foundation for conversations with healthcare organisations looking at Dragon Copilot Flex and evaluating how it fits within their existing environment.

Full Text Control across a growing range of systems

Healthcare professionals rely on different EHRs and clinical applications every day. Being able to use speech effectively within those existing environments is therefore an important consideration when introducing new clinical documentation technology.

Full Text Control is designed to support direct speech interaction within compatible applications, helping users work with text in the applications they already use.

The current validated list covers 23 vendor/system combinations, including widely used platforms and applications from Epic, Oracle Health, InterSystems, ChipSoft, Altera, Microsoft and others.

23 vendor/system combinations currently validated for Dragon Copilot Flex Full Text Control.

And the list continues to grow

The 23 combinations shown above represent the systems currently validated, but they are not intended to be the end of the story.

Support for additional vendor/system combinations is expected to continue expanding as Dragon Copilot develops. This means more healthcare organisations can potentially benefit from Full Text Control as support for additional environments becomes available.

For partners, it is therefore worth looking beyond the systems available today. If a customer’s environment is not currently represented, this does not necessarily mean it will remain unsupported. ORdigiNAL can help partners discuss current compatibility and keep track of developments relevant to their customers.

What does this mean for ORdigiNAL partners?

For partners supporting customers who are considering Dragon Copilot Flex, the expanding list of validated systems offers an important starting point for migration and solution discussions.

This is particularly relevant for organisations currently using Dragon Medical One. One of the considerations when discussing a move to Dragon Copilot Flex is whether the customer’s existing systems and workflows are supported.

The current list helps partners begin that conversation with a much clearer picture of where Full Text Control has already been validated.

For partners, that means the opportunity to:

  • Identify existing opportunities by checking whether a customer’s system is already among the validated combinations.
  • Support migration conversations with Dragon Medical One customers considering their next steps with Dragon Copilot.
  • Discuss compatibility earlier when exploring Dragon Copilot Flex with a customer.
  • Stay informed as coverage expands, with additional system combinations expected to be added over time.

Is your customer’s system on the list?

Every healthcare environment is different, and compatibility is an important part of determining the right approach to Dragon Copilot.

If your customer’s system appears among the currently validated combinations, or you want to discuss an environment that isn’t represented yet, get in touch with your ORdigiNAL contact or our Dragon Copilot specialists.

We can help you explore the current options and discuss the next steps for your customers.
